So, today I have two favorites from two very different book categories.
The first is Oh Dear! by Rod Campbell....i love this book and read it many times as a child. It was the closest thing we had to a pop-up book. 
The second is The Atonement Child by Francine Rivers. I was recommended this book by a friend of my mother's years ago and was uplifted by the young girl in this book and her dedication to do what she believed was right in God's eyes, regardless of what those around her said.
