Guns ~N~ Horses

Today was great! I got to go and see my horse...which i haven't done in over 4months. She is 4 years old so she still has her moods, but nevertheless we were able to ride and had a blast! Next I went to a friends house and shot guns....it was sooo much fun. We had planned to do it the day before, but it was too windy and wet. So today i got up and got on the net and he was online and shot me an IM inviting me to go today as the weather was perfect! So me and my sis headed on out there, after riding, at about 2pm and shot a Ruger 10/22 rifle, 9mm Star pistol, 2/23 rifle, and an M1 Grant 30cal....It was a blast...I haven't been shooting in over 4 years so this was great. I enjoyed it so much and am looking forward to someday getting one of my own :) Kittydid

Update...

Sorry it has been so long since my last update. Mexico was great and such a wonderful experience for me. I learned so much about myself. We got back in Seattle, WA on December 12th and had the 13th as a free day, but had Pneuma that evening. It was such a great day...we went for our last time to North Town and hung out with our friends on Thursday evening after a baptism and pool party. We had a great last few days together and then all said our good-byes on Friday night after our Farewell dinner. My dad arrived at about 7:30am on Saturday and hooked up my car to his truck to tow it for 8hrs to get home. The snow was about 6+ inches thick. We left town at about 9am and finally reached home at about 5pm...we were so happy to be home. On Sunday morning we went to church and I got to see my wonderful church family and friends. Monday we cleaned the house and on Tuesday my sister and her family came and are currently still with us and will be for a couple more days...My grandma arrived on Wednesday and the whole family was here on Thursday. Grandma left this morning and made it safely home. We had such a great Christmas! I got a new camera since my last one broke after taking it to the beach. Having so much fun being home and having fun with my family. I am also excited to go and see my newly engaged best friend :) Until later! Kittydid

One Amazing Party!

Last night we celebrated Levi and Remy's 22nd birthday(which is actually today). It was a surprise party...that actually WAS a surprise! It was held in the basement of North Town Coffeehouse! It was such a blast...we had cake, pickles, and hung out and played games! We then came back to the Campus(compound as we call it...lol) and brought two of our friends with us and had a 'sleep-over'; we watched The Emperor's New Groove and stayed up until 3am...so much fun. I woke up at 8:30am and then we are going to have breakfast @ YVCC House at 10:00am and then we are gonna go to Jordan's baptism in Ellensburg! We are so excited for him! Then I will probably return to the 'compound' and start packing for Mexico(3days and counting!) and then will go to North Town at about 7pm for Swing Dancing!!! Such a fun weekend...lol. Later! Mexico here we come!

Okay so today is Friday and we had our last class for the session today:(, but on Tuesday we will be headed to Seattle for our first flight to Houston, then to Mexico City to catch a bus to San Miguel! We are all very excited and are looking forward to the upcoming month of what the Lord has planned for us there! This weekend is soo jam packed with stuff we want to do before we leave and saying good-bye to all of our friends here. We will return here to Tieton for five days after Mexico and then we will all go our own way home...a long, lonely 5hour drive to Oregon for me :/ I'm thinking I will stay until Sunday afternoon and then head home :) I have not formed an attatchement here as so many of my family back home said I would do, and am not engaged, or married...LOL...thus keeping my promise to my parents and sister-in-laws :P I will be so happy to see all of my brothers and sisters, neices and nephews and grandparents. I am not so excited about my first thanksgiving away from home though :( I guess it will have to happen sometime and better for it to be while on missions than some other time! I'm not sure if I will be able to get on the internet to post updates of what is happening while I'm in Mexico, but I will definitely try! ~Kittydid~

Starbuck, WA!!!

Okay, So this weekend it went with three of my friends to one of their hometown; Starbuck, WA. NOT Starbucks and no, there isn't a Starbucks there. The population is of about 150 people! we had such a blast! We went fishing early Saturday morning and then went and gathered a truck and trailer full of wood! we came back for lunch and then we went on a hike at Palouse Falls...it was sooo beautiful! Sunday we went to church and then hung out with my friends parents, packed up the car and went to Palouse Falls once more before heading home! It was such a great weekend!!! We arrived home 45 minutes ago and had such a blast! It was so great to just get away from alot of different things and be able to quietly think, without anyone intefering; we spent like 3 hours at the falls on saturday and i just sat there reading my bible and praying for about an hour of it... So many questions and praises to God! Some answers I am doing my best to patiently wait for...such a hard thing that is!
Well, I'm hungry and need to do some laundry...will write when something else exciting happens...lol
OH!!! this week we are studying Revelation with Ken Sutton!

Missions Week!

This week is gonna be awesome! This morning we woke up and found that the power and the water had been shut off to give us a better idea of missionary work and things that sometimes happen. They have determined to go ahead and put the power back on so that we don't burn down the building with our candles, but the water will continue to be off; probably until the end of the week. LoL...Most of us are really enjoying this, while others are completely grossed out :). We are also eating more simply, no silverware. We ate oatmeal and bread for breakfast(no coffee), lunch we had rice with black beans...so good...and for dinner we are having a Moroccan stew and some Indian flatbread! We are all having such a great time! I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us!
Unitl next time,

Pranks are Awesome!

Okay, if anyone doesn't like or appreciate pranks then you might as well stop reading here. I am currently living in a dorm with 6 guys and 9 girls. They guys live on one side and have their own bathroom and the girls on the other with community lounging quarters in between. Okay we have had a problem with the sewer backing up and last Thursday it did it again. Three of the guys got a bright idea that this was the perfect time to get us girls back for some pranks we played on them. Shortly after our small groups ended the guys realized that there were no girls around and put some sardines and shaving cream in ziploc bags and planted them and the empty sardine can in our bathroom. Today, Sunday they told us that they did it...only after much digging and prying, and cleaning. The one part of the prank we did hadn't discovered was the empty sardine can in the bottom of our garbage can...underneath the garbage sack. LOL. Some of the girls did not appreciate this prank whatsoever, while the rest of us thought it to be quite brilliant and are already planning our counter-prank...as are the guys...hehe. Well, that's all for now!

A New Chapter in My Life

Hello People!
First blog ever here. Ummm...well I am currently entering week 7 or 8 of my Life's new adventure. I am currently attending a Christian sabbatical school in Tieton, WA. This school, Antioch Christian Training School, is four months long. We have been here for 2 months next Sunday and will be leaving for Outreach in San Miguel, Mexico in 3 or 4 weeks. I have met so many great and wonderful people here and want to move up here when this is all done and over. I am currently praying that God would show me what to do and how it will all work out. I tend to be a detailed and fairly organized person when it comes to most things and this is one area I would like to be organized, but I want to trust God and I know that He will show me what He wants to when He wants to...well, bye for now friends. I'll try to write again soon.
