Day 25: A Recipe

This isn't GF or anything, but it is one of my favorite recipes and one I'm known for making. :)

Old-Fashioned Gingersnaps
AKA: Katelynn's Famous Gingersnaps :-P
3/4c. Butter
1c.    Sugar
1       Egg
1/4c. Molasses
2c.    Flour
2t.    Baking Soda
1/4t. Salt
1t.    Ground Cinnamon
1t.    Ground Cloves
1t.    Ground Ginger
(additional sugar)

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and molasses; beat well.
Sift together remaining dry ingredients. Gradually add to molasses mixture.
Mix well and chill for at least 30mins.
Make 1-1/4" balls and dip into sugar. Place 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake @ 375F for 10 minutes, or until set and surface is cracked.  Cool on wire racks.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
